Receptoria de la Real Aduana de Lima en Huaura hasta la llegada del General Don José de San Martín con su Ejército Libertador, donde instalo su Cuartel General y desde su Balcón proclamo la Independencia el 27-XI-1820

El sol de la libertad brilla fulgurante en la Plaza San Martin de Huaura. En la ciudad se respira hasta el dia de hoy un aire de independencia y de libertad unica.

El planeta tierra esta herido de muerte

James Lovelock duda “que nos queden más de diez años para encontrar respuestas que nos ayuden a salvar nuestro planeta”. A la pregunta de Fariza acerca de su obra "Homenaje a Gaia," el inglés ha respondido: “Hacia el final de este siglo, es probable que el calentamiento global haya transformado la mayor parte de la tierra en un desierto y en un descampado. Los únicos lugares donde pueda crecer bastante comida para la supervivencia de la población serán el ártico, islas como Japón, Nueva Zelanda, las islas británicas, y las zonas costeras en general, así como los lugares más montañosos como Los Alpes, que seguirán recibiendo lluvia.”
El científico también señala la importancia de lo que los expertos llaman “el oscurecimiento global”, un problema “real y muy serio que se debe al hecho de que al quemar energías fósiles, no sólo emitimos dióxido de carbón, sino también niebla. El dióxido de carbón calienta y la niebla enfría. Si dejamos de quemar energía fósil, el dióxido de carbón se quedará en el aire durante unos cien años por lo menos, pero caerá la niebla en dos semanas. Entonces, si seguimos estamos abocados a la maldición, y si paramos también.”
Su apoyo a la energía nuclear le ha convertido en el blanco de las críticas de muchos de sus colegas. Saturnino Barbé preguntaba al científico si tiene en cuenta las emisiones de CO2 producidas en la minería y procesamiento del Uranio, y en la construcción/demolición de las centrales nucleares y sus cementerios. Lovelock contestaba tajante: “La energía producida por un kilo de material nuclear equivale a la energía producida por un millón de kilos de carbón. Por lo tanto, las emisiones de CO2 producidas en la extracción del uranio es un millón de veces menor que aquella necesaria para extraer el carbón. La cantidad de cemento usada para construir la base de un molino de viento es 40 veces mayor que aquella usada para construir una planta nuclear entera.”
A la pregunta de Conan, ¿Cuál cree usted que será el cambio más drástico que hará que los gobiernos cambien radicalmente sus políticas medioambientales? ¿Lo hay? Lovelock daba su opinión: “Debería ser un desastre climatológico muy caro. Ya que el cambio climático está lleno de sorpresas, no puedo una respuesta más específica. Hubiera pensado que la canícula de 2003 fuera suficiente para ello, pero no parece haber sido el caso.

Sigue los estudios del arquitecto Vituvrio(Marcus Vitruvius Pollio) arquitecto romano del siglo I AC, a quién Julio Cesar, encarga la construcción de máquinas de guerra. En época de Augusto, escribió los diez tomos de su obra "De Architectura", que trata de la construcción hidráulica, de cuadrantes solares, de mecánica y de sus aplicaciones en arquitectura civil y en ingeniería militar. El hombre de Vitruvio es un claro ejemplo del enfoque globalizador de Leonardo que se desarrollo muy rápidamente durante la segunda mitad de la década de 1480. Trataba de vincular, la arquitectura y el cuerpo humano, un aspecto de su interpretación de la naturaleza y del lugar de la humanidad en el "plan global de las cosas".Leonardo corrige los errores de las mediciones de Vitruvio, obteniendo las medidas empíricamente, supera el canon antiguo y recrea una ilustración de las descripciones de Vitruvio que se considera hasta hoy la más perfecta.
